The infant children had a fantastic time visiting the Judges Lodgings for a Victorian Christmas experience. They went into the Victorian schoolroom first where they each made and decorated a cornucopia. They then went into the Victorian playroom where a special visitor was waiting for them! The children then explored the The Museum of Childhood and looked at some of the toys Miss Morgan used to have when she was a child. In the Victorian kitchen the children learnt how to make a Christmas pudding from Mrs Beaton's cookbook and also made a ribbon decoration for their tree. Finally they did some exercises and played ring games with the butler. After singing We Wish You a Merry Christmas very loudly at the foot of the stairs in the hall they left with a special suprise in their cornucopia's. A fantastic trip was had by all and the children were well behaved and very polite - great ambassadors for the school.
